Monitoring mHealth in Jamaica

The University of North Carolina’s MEASURE Evaluation worked with the Jamaican Ministry of Health to monitor and evaluate mHealth interventions using Magpi on iOS devices. Major findings in regards to data management included: 100% of reports available online and on time, data accuracy improved, and reporting and supervision protocols established where there was none before.

LQAS Monitoring Report

Monitoring the quality of supplementary immunization activities (SIAs) is a key tool for polio eradication. Regular monitoring data, however, are often unreliable. To address this challenge, the World Health Organization introduced lot quality assurance sampling (LQAS) as an additional tool to monitor SIA quality.
