Mercy Corps adopted electronic data collection with Magpi in their maternal health programs to improve planning, resource allocation, and strengthen services. Data managers assessed service coverage by gathering information such as population sizes, high-risk pregnancies, postnatal period, under-five years child health, etc. The use of mobile phones allowed Mercy Corps staff to capture and analyze data within and outside subdistricts and cities in real time.
