Improving Child Health Supply Chain

John Snow Inc. (JSI) used Magpi in Malawi, Ethiopia and Rwanda to collect data and analyze stock availability of malaria, pneumonia, diarrhea and other children’s medicines. By adopting mobile data collection, JSI’s Supply Chains 4 Community Case Management (SC4CCM) program improved speed and accuracy of the supply chain by having real-time information on low inventories, supervision and training issues, drug expiration, and more. More than 93,000 community health workers managed up to 75 products reaching children in the most difficult to access areas with a wide variety of geographies.
